Submission Guidelines
For the staff of The RPG Realm to accept a Review submission you must follow the guidelines listed below:
  • You must give your name or an alias that you would rather go by and a valid e-mail address.
  • Please rate the game overall, and closely follow the guidelines for the rating.
  • Your review has to be your own work, contain no spoilers, and have very minimal of offensive language, if any.
  • The only html markup texts allowed are the bold and italic tags.
  • In the body of your review, do not have anything but the review itself. This includes graphics, signatures, codes, email addresses, etc.
  • Reviews are to help people make informed decisions about a game based on your opinion. Don't just slam a game you don't like, explain why you don't like it. If you really enjoy a game, be honest about what other people might not like.
  • All reviews must be 450 words or more, otherwise you are making a comment about the game, not reviewing it.
  • Please try to use at least nearly grammatically correct English.
  • Keep in mind that we will only accept a certain number of reviews for the same game.

10 A game so good that it transcends genre. Unique, excellent design with no flaws and all fun. Not one single flaw.
9 A game that is the pinnacle of what its genre could and should be.
8 An excellent game — a classic. Perhaps there's a few things wrong, a misplaced minigame, but it's almost always fun.
7 Good but not great, a solid game you enjoyed. Several flaws, or perhaps an unenjoyable section.
6 Marginally better than average, a major flaw that marrs an otherwise enjoyable game.
5 About average. You enjoyed half the game, and did not enjoy half the game. Or, the entire game was perfectly okay.
4 A little worse than average. More pain than gain; a brilliant system that just doesn't deliver, good plot but painful gameplay.
3 Lots is wrong with this. Perhaps you loved the minigames, but hated the real game. Most of it should be mediocre or worse.
2 Something terrible this way comes. Maybe some of the side-quests or minigames were fun, but most of it was crap.
1 Very few games are actually this terrible. Legendarily bad, absolutely everything is painful.
0 Your system committed suicide to avoid running the game, and the instruction manual ate your pet bunny.
