Originally known as Greg's Fantasy Realm back in 1997, the site was the brainchild of Greg Davis, who was tired of looking all over the web for ROMs of the role-playing games he wanted to play. Greg amassed an impressive collection, and the Realm was featured in GamePro as one of the hottest sites in the emulation scene.
Emulation sites generally don't last long, but the Realm bucked the trend by becoming one of the earliest review sites. Now the RPG Realm, we cover everything, not just role-playing games. But in our hearts, we're still 8- and 16-bit enthusiasts who think Final Fantasy VI was really cool. Our reviews are honest (there's no such thing as a guaranteed 7 around here), and our all-volunteer staff cares.We hope you stick around! Let us know if we can do anything better.
